Thank you for your interest in the Golden Apple Grant Program. The New Eagle Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is proud to have a grant fund to support outstanding and innovative programs, ideas, and/or purchases that will enrich the educational experience at New Eagle Elementary School. With the current budget challenges our district faces, our Golden Apple Grant Program allows us to provide additional resources and fund initiatives that will truly enhance and benefit our school. In the past, the PTO awarded approximately 10 grants. This year, we have chosen to budget $3000 for the grant program; therefore allowing number of grants awarded to be based upon the applications received.
Do you have an idea we can support? Supplies for a classroom project? An innovative idea to enhance a specific grade-level activity? Funds to refurbish an area of the school? A new addition to the playground? An educational addition to the outside classroom that could shared by all students?
Grant applications will be accepted from September 17th - December 21st, 2012. Any member of the New Eagle community is welcome to apply including teachers, staff, administrators, parents, and students. The PTO Board will review submitted applications within a few weeks of being received and will notify recipients as soon as possible.
